Project 21.5.800.



A few days ago I signed up with Bindu Wiles' community project called 21.5.800. For 21 days, I’ll be doing 5 days of yoga a week and 800 words of writing per day.

This really jumped out at me because I've been itching to get back into a better routine with my yoga. A couple of times a week or month is all I've been able to muster lately. My days are so exhausting and I just haven't been able to get my motivation levels up enough to be consistent. So I know that once I actually get started, I'll be on a roll and it will be smooth sailing! Doing yoga on a regular basis will give me the extra energy I need and it's an amazing stress reliever.

Writing is also very cathartic for me. When I'm in the right moment, the words just flow...not always eloquently or profoundly, but words nonetheless.

This challenge will force me to commit a specific amount of time to MYSELF. I don't get enough of that if I don't make a special effort. This will be my chance to make that effort. I've discovered that it only takes one small step to make really big changes!

  1. It sounds like a wonderful idea. Good for you! Signing up for a commitment like that is pretty big. I hope you'll be blogging about your experience, because as interested as I am, I'm not signing on, (too afraid of the time commitment).
