"I would have my secretary do it, but she's dead."

Last night's intended evening of relaxation with Don Draper was unexpectedly interrupted by the one sound ALL mothers dread to hear:

Little Miss Catie must have picked up a stomach bug...the poor little thing. She was quite calm about it all. I extracted her from the destruction she had unleashed and popped her into the bathtub to rinse her off.

After some wiping, mopping, laundering & a tiny bit of gagging, I was able to put her back into bed all comfortable and cozy. I placed her puke bowl conveniently right by her head and laid towels out all around her. Good thing too because she was up every 3 hours or so to repeat her prevoius performance - only on a much smaller scale.

My only fear was that the other two kids would end up joining the show, but thankfully that hasn't happened yet. *knock on wood*

Everything appears to be back to normal at this time, but I'm not letting my guard down just yet. The puke bowl are on standby.

While the girls colored Halloween pictures and the little man was completely immersed in his video games, I decided to bake some yummy chocolate chip cookies.

I had been wanting to try this recipe out for awhile now. They turned out pretty delicious I must say. Very chewy and lot's of chocolate chips. I think I've had 6 so far - but they're pretty small so it's really only like I had 3. This is what I tell myself anyway ;)

Things have been picking up a little more in my Etsy shop lately thank goodness. I've got the usual Buy 2 Get 1 Free deal happening on ALL items.

Also, if you spend $20 or more, you can pick out a free pocket mirror to add to your order.
