Lazy Days of Summer

I'm really looking forward to school ending next week so that we can all just lapse into a lazy summer of sleeping in, lounging in the yard and just doing whatever the heck we please. Report cards are handed out on the 30th and after that - freedom!

The kids and I have already got awesome farmer tans going on, mosquito bites and all of that other good stuff that goes along with summer.
The paddling pool was dragged out of the shed and the kids had a blast. The puppy even went for a swim in a nearby pond. :)
Seamus and Catie watched with delight as Lulu splashed around like a maniac in the water.
The first frog of the summer was captured. He was a cute little fella. Seamus was playing with him in the bathtub and being a curious little boy, wanted to see what would happen when you put a frog in the drain. Needless to say, the frog is wandering around in the sewers now. (He's actually probably dead.) :/
No more frogs in the bathtub....
Time for me to grab my giant cup of coffee,  douse myself in bug spray and head outside for some relax time. The kids are being couch potatoes right now so its the perfect time to escape for a bit.
♥ Enjoy your day! ♥

  1. Enjoy your day indeed.

I think "There is a Light That Never Goes Out" is supposed to be an optimistic song, at least as far as Morrissey goes. And any Morrissey reminds me of you, of course.

I hope all is as well in your life as your public persona indicates. :)
