Flock and Gather Winter Wonders Handmade Market

Back in September, I had this crazy idea in my head that once the kids were all in school, I'd have SO much free time to myself. Ha! That's all I can say about that. It feels like life has actually gotten busier and my blog posts have fallen by the wayside. SO I'm starting 2014 with a freshly designed blog and good intentions of keeping it updated more frequently.

In December, I attended the Flock and Gather Winter Wonders handmade market in Saskatoon. It was the second time I've participated in the show and it was a wonderful success. Over 2500 shoppers came out in very frigid temperatures to check out the market. My brother came along with me to help out. He was my chauffeur, salesman, coffee fetcher and made sure everything was running smoothly. I was somewhat brain dead by the time we arrived at the show due to all of the late nights and crazy crafting I'd been doing in the weeks leading up to it. It was nice to have him there as my buffer. He was good at chatting up the ladies and making sales for me :)

Here's a shot of my table on the second day. Things were looking a little bare by this time.
My earrings were a hot seller and I sold almost all of my compact mirrors and Polaroid banner kits.
I bumped into a lot of vendors from the market I attended back in April and met some new ones too.

Our table was back to back with Mike of Uncle Mike's All Natural Products.
He seemed to know almost everyone who passed by his table:)
Having all of that handmade soap and other yummy smelling goodies right behind me was distracting! I ended up buying a few things from him of course.
I've been using his all natural deodorant and it's amazing. I will never buy drugstore deodorant ever again. His healing salve has been great for my dry skin this winter too :) And of course, the bars of soap are wonderful too. I made sure to stock up!
